Election Day is April 7, 2009

Your local Republican Party recently held a caucus to select its candidates for Township office. Holding the caucus instead of a primary election saved the taxpayers about $130,000. This expenditure would have been for election materials, judges salaries and delivery and removal of voting machines.

One hundred and fifty hearty Republicans braved the bitter cold temperatures on Tuesday, January 13 to meet in the gym at Harper College to select the party nominees for township office.
